Description

Canpotex is currently seeking a Service Centre Technician (19-13) to join the Business Information (BI) team in our Saskatoon office.
Canpotex is continuously improving our BI technologies to adopt more cloud-based services and other next generation technologies to support our global operations and enhance the user experience. Reporting to the Manager, Information Security and Technology, you are the primary individual responsible for ensuring business partner satisfaction within the organization and providing responsive service to resolve service center requests. You actively receive, prioritize, document, research, resolve and escalate service center requests.  Within established service level agreements, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot technology including computer and networking equipment, peripherals, and software. You are responsible for evaluating documented resolutions, analyzing trends, and partnering with various stakeholders in the organization to proactively identify ways to prevent recurring issues.You are an innovator who is an agile learner and is passionate about improving processes through leading edge technologies. As someone with excellent communication abilities you are excited about the opportunity to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships and work with forefront technologies. You have great analytical and organization skills and are able to prioritize and triage all service centre desk tickets appropriately. You have strong initiative and the desire to innovate.You hold a university degree in computer science or diploma in a computer-based discipline from a technical institute. You have experience and/or education in Microsoft environments including Office 365. A Microsoft Certified System Engineer or ITIL designation would be considered an asset. You also have experience and/or education in personal computer hardware and printers including configuration and troubleshooting.
