Description

Tron is looking for experienced Millwrights/Heavy Duty Mechanics to join us at our Mining Machine Assembly project in Allan. The candidate must meet all qualifying criteria listed below and have previous work experience with Potash Mines.

Duration: 8 Weeks, with possibility of extension.

Scope: Working with a multi-trade crew to assemble mining machines, underground at the Nutrien mine. There will be 12 hour working days and OT after 8 hours; shift schedule will vary between 2 weeks on-1 week off and/or 2 weeks on-2 weeks off.

Qualifications:
- Journeyperson Certificate (Red Seal is a MUST for out of province applicants), or 2-3 year apprentice
- Overhead Crane Operator Ticket
- Rigging & Hoisting Training
- WHMIS (2015)
- Fall Protection
- Negative D&A Test is a condition of employment
