Description

Responsibilities:
Receive and transport inventory within Microsoft AX
Issue shipping documentation required for domestic shipments
Track and trace shipments
Review railcar and intermodal unloads
Create commercial invoices
Review and approve payables as well as provide explanations for budgeted versus actual variances
Review and approve analysis reports to ensure quality
Process detention and demurrage claims
Purchase and Sale contract review and administration
Maintain internal logistic records
Various backup duties to Logistics Manager

Skill and Abilities:
Completion of High school education  A University Degree in Business or related discipline is desired
2+ years working in the logistics/transportation area. Preferably with experience working in logistics as it pertains to shipments of agricultural commodities
Knowledge of Microsoft office  proficiency in Excel
Understanding of Incoterms an asset
Demonstrated ability to work in team environment
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask
Thorough understanding of business, accounting and finances in a professional environment
Professional written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
