Description

Vesuvius Canada Inc., a leading Manufacturer and Installer of refractory products for the Steel and Industrial markets has an immediate opening for an Electrical Service Representative located in Regina, Saskatchewan.

This is a hands-on, labour intensive position which requires technical acumen.  It is responsible for maintaining specific refractory emplacement equipment at a customer location and providing support to the Western Canadian Steel team as it relates to various refractory application programs already in place.

The position involves working various shifts, including some weekends, and being on-call for troubleshooting.  Overtime may be required.  This position offers a competitive wage and benefits package.

Duties/Requirements:
-College diploma in a technical field - ie/ Engineering Technology, PLC's, Robotics, Automated Systems, Electronic Systems.
-Perform routine preventative maintenance and trouble shooting on refractory emplacement equipment at customer location.
-Provide support in monitoring ongoing product performance, installation and introduction of new product applications.
-Conduct regular inventory management functions
-Ability to work flexible hours
-Ability to lift 55 lbs plus
-Reliable transportation/valid drivers' licence
-Fluent and clear English

-Strong electrical, mechanical and problem solving skills
-Experience with Robotics and PLC's
-Experience with Project Management tools and methodologies
-Industrial plant environment experience
-Excellent customer service/communication skills
-Basic knowledge of industrial safety
-Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
