Understands the manufacturers warranty conditions and policies and keeps up to changes
Performs the work described in the work order effectively and accurately, based on the dealer and manufactures standards
Determines the cause of any defect and repairs it
Detects the defects in the vehicle, based on customers complaints and his/her own inspections
Submits part requests to obtain the necessary parts including labor times
Returns core parts for warranty return when required
Ensure customer repair parts are left in vehicle when customer requires
Examines the vehicle assigned to him/her, to determine if additional safety or maintenance repair work is necessary
Inspects recently delivered vehicles and road test them, to detect any obvious damage or missing components, and to evaluate the vehicle driving functions
Notifies Service Advisor/Shop Foreman, as soon as possible if additional work is required, if the work described is unnecessary or if the repairs cannot be done
