Rebellion Brewing is looking for taproom servers!
Our goal is to provide quality, efficient, outstanding service to taproom customers while sharing and expanding a love and knowledge of craft beer.
Applicant must:
- have an interest in beer and the brewing industry.
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to learn product knowledge and share information with customers
- ability to multi task
Day, evening and weekend availability accepted.
Must be available a min. of 16 hours a week with either Friday or Saturday included.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Advise on menu selections
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Essential Skills
- Oral communication
- Working with others
- Problem solving
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Serving It Right Certificate
Additional Skills
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Set tables
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Load buspans and trays
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
