Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Welcome, greet and check in patients for appointments
Schedule and confirm bookings
Ensure reception area and examination room are clean and tidy at all times
Maintain proper patient flow in the reception and examination room for efficient and proper use of the facility
Ensure proper and accurate documentation of patient information
Transcribe physician dictations
Cross cover for two of the physicians in clinic
Take patients vital signs, including blood pressure, height and weight
This pediatric practice will also perform allergy procedures in which there will be a need to replenish medical supplies in a timely manner between patients
Keeping track of inventory and expenses on spreadsheet
Managing physicians schedule on EMR
Answering and returning phone calls
Attending to all tasks in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements preferred but not limited to:
Provide excellent and exception customer service
As this is a pediatric practice, able to work kids and their parents
Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records system a plus
Knowledge of Medical Billings a plus but will provide training if not.
Ability to adapt easily and a fast learner
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinic while paying attention to details
Excellent communication skills (Both written and verbal)
Superior time management skills
Excellent phone manners
Good computer skills with good typing skills
Maintain confidentiality and conduct business in a professional manner
Knowledge of medical terminology a plus but not required
