JOB OVERVIEW: This is a full time position commencing Aug 28, 2019
General Responsibilities:
* assist in the kitchen for 2 hours daily ( includes dishes, general cleaning, assist with meal preparation)
* cover infants breaks for 2.5 hours each day
Applicants will require the following:
Early Childhood Education Certification -Level 1 & Food Safety
Criminal Record check including a vulnerable sector check
Valid First Aid & CPR certificate
Previous experience in a child care setting and assisting in the kitchen.

- Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities
- Assess the developmental level of children
- Knowledge of Day Nurseries Act

- Assist in housekeeping duties
- Assist in maintaining records of children
Early Childhood Educator Assistant Skills
- Prepare and serve snacks
- Guide children in development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Arrange transition periods such as lunch and rest for children
