Description

PAMI is an applied Engineering organization that works in technology and applications development. We employ engineers, agronomists, technologists and professional skilled in the field of science and technology. WESTEST, a division of PAMI, is a state of the art machinery component testing facility located in Portage la Prairie. We are currently seeking a Project Leader I for a full time, 6 month term position

Your key responsibilities would include:
Assist Project Leaders and Project Managers with conducting research and development projects with minimal guidance and with moderate complexity and intermediate level of variety in tasks for clients
Design, construct prototypes, set-up, calibrate and operate test equipment, including feasibility studies
Design machinery and components, with some problem-solving and decision-making authority with accountability and with innovation encouraged in decisions
Perform basic computer aided design and analysis
Assemble, prepare, install, calibrate, maintain, evaluate and operate machines being tested
Collect, analyze, document and store test data
Basic interaction with clients
Assist with proposal and report writing

Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of instrumentation, electronics, mechanical and hydraulic concepts
Experience with of testing procedures, computer drafting, simulation and analysis
Project management, machinery and equipment operations
Technical report writing skills
Extensive travel to the Unites States is required
