Description

The Health Quality Council works to accelerate improvement in the quality of health and health care within Saskatchewan.

The positions would be well suited to individuals who are looking to advance their career in the areas of community engagement, knowledge management and change management and to gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

As an Improvement Consultant, you will build networks and work collaboratively with teams and system partners to achieved system-wide improvement priorities.  Working to build capacity, capability and motivation for improvement, you will serve as a community knowledge manager to design and facilitate change.

Preference is for this position to be based at Health Quality Council office located in Saskatoon, however alternate locations may be considered.

Key Responsibilities
-establishing and maintaining key relationships and working collaboratively with health system partners to achieve shared priorities;  
- building capacity, capability, motivation and energy for change using quality improvement methods and measurement approaches;  
- curating information, knowledge and evidence through systematic learning, to identify pertinent information and experiences to accelerate improvement opportunities across stakeholders and provincial partners.

Qualifications:
- A Masters degree in a related discipline, or;
- a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline;
- Quality improvement training (ie. Lean Leader Certification, Lean Improvement Leaders Training or other) would be considered an asset.
