Schulte Industries Ltd. is seeking a qualified CNC Lathe operator to join our production team. The location of this position will be in Englefeld, SK.

Reporting to the Fabrication supervisor, the CNC Lathe Operator would be responsible for programming and operating the CNC lathe on a daily basis, following through on first part check procedures, maintain schedule and deadline requirements for cutting parts, and perform minor repairs on the CNC lathe as needed. Responsible for preventative maintenance on CNC lathe as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
-    Minimum 5 years experience in set-up and operation of CNC Lathes
-    Knowledge of manual lathes
-    Knowledge of JD Edwards
-    WHMIS training
-    Forklift training
-    Overhead crane training
-    Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives under little to no supervision

Essential Job Functions:
1. Program and operate CNC lathe on a daily basis
2. Operate manual lathe as needed
3. Follow through on First Part Checked procedure
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area
5. Maintain schedule and deadline requirements
6. Take instruction and work load assignments from Supervisors
7. Gather and transport raw material to designated areas
8. Safety inspections of hoists, forklift and machinery
9. Responsible for preventative maintenance on CNC
10. Perform minor repairs on CNC lathe as needed
11. Enter work orders into computer software
12. Operating forklift
