TCU Place is looking for a detailed oriented and ambitious individual to join the Event Services team as a Custodian 3. TCU Place has an exciting team within a great and fun business. We provide the finest entertainment the world has to offer in our 2000 seat Sid Buckwold theatre and celebrate our city, province and countrys achievements along with business and association meetings in our convention and meeting areas. We are looking for someone with a certain spark that will have the ability to meet and exceed our customers expectations with providing outstanding service each and every time they come to an event in our building.

The Event Services Custodian 3 performs setup and teardown of building events as well as  
cleans all areas of the facility. This is a casual position with shifts during the days, evenings and
weekend.  
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the setup and dismantling of events, including theatre, weddings, banquets, conventions, meetings, trade shows and cabarets.
Responds to client requests before and during events.
Assists with janitorial and general cleaning duties.
Removes debris and snow from outside grounds, including walkways and patio.
Performs security checks of building, as required.


EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 10 education.
Three months related setup and teardown experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public and other employees.
Physical ability to perform the assigned duties.
Ability to operate mechanical equipment.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS) upon offer of employment.
