Our client employer requires a Photo Lab Manager for their store to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of the photo lab. The Manager supervises Photo Lab staff, manages the maintenance of lab equipment, and develops an effective sales team at the Photo Counter and Photo Electronic Department.
Job applicants must have a good understanding of a photo lab's operational software and support websites, a knowledge of desktop PCs and Windows-based operating systems, and knowledge of digital and analogue photography. Candidates must be a self-starter who can drive sales and has excellent communication skills and strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to supervise others and to relate to all levels of personnel.
Job duties include performing all tasks of a Photo Lab Specialist, ensuring maintenance of lab equipment, providing assistance to management on special projects, ordering lab supplies and parts, monitoring and controlling the financial budgets for the department, setting goals for the Photo Lab team, and maximizing profitability and sales events.
