The Group Home Supervisor reports to the ACCFS Executive Director. They are responsible for the operation of the Asikwanehk (Big River First Nation) Youth Lodge. Duties include:
-administrative
-management of personnel/recruitment
-client management and program planning with clients and staff
The applicant must have good assessment as well as professional and business skills. Knowledge of computers to document work, strong reading and writting skills are essential.
Qualifications
-A Degree in Social Work or related discipline
-Have professional experience in the field of Residential Care of Children or Youth
-A thorough understanding of First Nation Culutre and ability to speak or understand Cree will be an asset
-Strong interpersonal, organizational, managerial and communication skills
-Competent to work within the mandate and philosophy of Agency Chiefs Child and Family Services.
-Criminal record and vulnerable sectors check must be available for review.
