Great Plains College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic instructor(s) for our Youth Care Worker program at the Warman Campus. The instructor will plan, organize and implement instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their academic potential. Candidates are welcome to apply in whole or in part of this assignment.

Duties include:
Plan and prepare human service courses to instruct each day and present course material in a clear and comprehensible manner
Instruct theory, exercises and activities which meet learning objectives outlined for this program
Demonstrate application of subject material in the world of work and in everyday life.
Meet with the program coordinator to discuss student and program related issues

Qualifications:
The YCW Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position:
-A four year degree in Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
-Two years recent and relevant work experience working with services to youth.
-Effective interpersonal skills.
-Effective communication skills.
-Effective instructional ability.
-Demonstrates valuing diversity.
