Description

We are a long-term established Saskatchewan business in the heart of the warehouse district in Regina. Only applicants that send their resumes to the email address below will be considered.  Please do not drop off resumes in person.

This is a full time permanent position.  Monday to Friday.  8 AM to 5 PM.

Our expectation is that the successful candidate will have worked in an office previously and is looking to work for an established company for an extended period.

The expectation is that you excel at working on repetitive administrative tasks and happily maintain your focus.

The main part of the job includes the following tasks:

- Matching supplier invoices to internal receiving reports and invoices to supplier statements.

- Filing invoices and packing slips in order to retrieve them for matching; filing paid invoices.

- Accurately entering invoices into our warehouse system, and being able to double-check your own work or the work of your co-workers.

- Emailing or telephoning suppliers for missing invoices and other information.  Communicating with internal staff to clarify or collect missing information.

- Answering our main multi-line switchboard in a backup capacity in a friendly professional manner and transferring calls to multiple departments and individuals.

- Having a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet portion) and Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

The volume of transactions that we process is significant.

Additional Skills Required for Administration Assistant Portion of job:
- Experience with Adobe Editor
- Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets and work with numerical data
- Strong attention to detail
- Efficient typing and document formatting skills
- Basic graphic design skills an asset
