Description

Southeast College, one of Saskatchewan's Top Employers for 2018 and 2019, is looking for an energetic and competent IT professional to join their team!

This full-time position is based in Weyburn SK.   Geographical responsibilities span the entire Southeast region. Must hold a valid drivers license and be willing to travel as the position requires.

Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
* Provide first line response and tracking for users requiring assistance.
* Provide training, develop and maintain related training materials.  
* Effectively manage service incidents.
* Keep an accurate inventory of software and equipment and maintain assets through the entire life-cycle.
* Deploy appropriate software and equipment based on need.
* Maintain IT Standard operating environments and monitor for exceptions (rogue devices, and non-acceptable use).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Self-starter with excellent service, communication, time management, problem solving and technical writing skills.
* Knowledge of (relevant certifications preferred) Standard Operating Environment which includes;
   - Exchange, Skype for Business, SharePoint, File & Print, Networking and TCP/IP.
    - MS Windows, Office Standard Courseware.
     - PC, Notebook, Tablet, Smart phone (Windows and iPhone), Web/Video Conferencing, and print devices.
* Knowledge of ITIL framework: incident & problem, change & release management processes.

Education & Experience
* A minimum one year certificate in a computer discipline such as computer network technician or computer systems technology.
* A minimum of two years experience troubleshooting/supporting technology in an enterprise class Microsoft based network.
* Comp-TIA A+ certification and/or deployment experience an asset.
