Full time cook for residential facility.
Applicants should be comfortable with cooking in large volumes (approx. 30-40 people), food prep, menu planning, product orders, and general care and maintenance of a kitchen. This includes maintaining cleanliness and safety within the area, washing kitchen linens, and supervision of helpers where needed.
When time permits, baking treats for the facility is an asset.
Cooking large meals over the holidays (70+ in attendance).
Prepping meals, including directions, for the weekend staff to complete on Fridays along with bagged lunch options daily.
Communication with Executive Director on any issues or needs that arise.
Ability to work as a team with a multidisciplinary staff.
Hours are 10am-6:30pm (30 minute lunch) Monday to Friday.
Must have Safe Food Handing Certificate and related experience.
First Aid CPR is an asset
