For the past 37 years, Millennium III Group of Companies has provided our investors with a unique opportunity to participate in the commercial real estate market through collective property ownership. As part of the M3 team, you will be joining a dedicated group of 40 employees including 5 CPA's, working to provide the best possible returns and customer experience for our investment group.
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Assistant Corporate Controller will be responsible for facilitating the daily cash requirements of the group, producing monthly financial statements for 63 commercial real estate holdings and providing timely payroll reporting as required. As a member of our team you will participate in documenting corporate year end working papers, maintain and initiate proper internal control procedures and be involved in analytical analysis and divisional cost accounting. You will also prepare/review limited partnership year end working paper files, financial statements and related tax documentation.
Qualifications and skills required would include:
-Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting leadership role
-Ambitious self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines
-High attention to detail
-Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
-Proficiency with Excel
-CPA designation
Beneficial experience would include:
-Experience with Yardi and Caseware/Caseview software
-Exposure to related entity accounting
-Public practice experience
-IFRS financial statement preparation
