The Mechanical Engineer will work as part of a team developing cutting edge pneumatic systems for agricultural and industrial applications. This team creates solutions from the basic concept through prototyping and testing stages, up to and including preparing the new product for production engineering.
Job Overview:
-Design of new product
-Analysis of test data
-Designing test simulators
-Finite Element Analysis, (FEA)
-Fabricating prototypes, hands-on
-Testing in field conditions and on simulators
-Extensive researchCFD Analysis
-Project Management
-Modeling and Drafting, using Solidworks and AutoCAD
-Working with customers in various locations, including overseas
Requirements:
Preference is given to candidates with experience in manufacturing and/or farm industry and equipment.
Mechanical Engineering degree, or related training with at least 5 years of relevant experience
(i.e.: Eng. Tec. Diploma with applied experience in equipment design)
-Preference will be given to P.Eng
-Working knowledge of SolidWorks and CFD,preferred
-Proven troubleshooting abilities and problem solving skills
-Project management experience
-Innovative design aptitude
-Ability to work alone and as part of a team
-Clear communication practices in English, in both verbal and written format
-A valid Canadian passport and drivers license
