Description

We are currently recruiting for an ABE instructor who will provide English Language Arts Instruction and tutorial support primarily to adults registered in Essential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP) and Adult 10-12 programs.  Areas of instruction may include, but are not limited to; ESWP PLATO, ELA A10, B10, A30, and B30; and Native Studies 30. The instructor may also be required to teach other subject areas as assigned.

Additional duties include, but are not limited to; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis; monitoring student progress and submitting reports on a regular basis.  

The minimal qualifications for this positions are a Bachelor of Education Degree with an English major; and a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate.

An accreditation credential for English Language Arts as well as strong computer skills are considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
