We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Mechanics Instructor. Areas of instruction include, but are not limited to: Drafting and Blueprint Reading; Lubrication, Bearings and Seals; Industrial Mechanics, Applied Certificate Trade Mathematics; Metallurgy and Fabrication; Riggings/Installation/ Alignment; Hand Tools; Assembly and Measuring Tools; Power Tools; Welding and Cutting; and Work Experience. The instructor is also responsible for monitoring and providing feedback on student progress; maintaining tools/supplies; submitting required paperwork to Northlands College and affiliated agencies.
Additional duties include, but are not limited to; classroom management; taking attendance and submitting on a regular basis, and other duties as assigned.
The minimal qualifications for this position are:
A Red Seal Industrial Mechanics Ticket;
Minimum of two years of industrial mechanics experience;
Valid driverss license; and
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
