Description

Working for CHEP Good Food, you are passionate about issues around food security and want to make a difference in your community. Our volunteer base supports many of CHEP's programs, such as the Good Food Box, Community Fresh Food Markets, Collective Kitchens and Community Gardens. This combined role of Volunteer and Office Coordinator is responsible to act as a first point of contact for the general public and interested volunteers, to coordinate office administration, and to provide support to programs as required.
Duties include:
*Volunteer Screening, Intake, Assignments & Orientation
* Office Administration (filing, reception, record keeping, taking minutes, equipment upkeep)
* Office Reception
* Assistance with fundraising events
* Providing information to the public
* Outreach and support to programs as required

Required:
* Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership success
* Experience in training and supervising
* Superior written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Highly organized with ability to master multiple tasks
* Ability to work with WordPress, Photoshop considered an asset
* Experience working for a non-profit  considered an asset
Position is full-time (37.5 hours per week)
