Description

The ALS Society of Saskatchewan works to accommodate the needs of clients with ALS with equipment, information, referrals and support to the best of our abilities. We promote education and awareness through engagement to the wider community. We act as an advocate for our clients and families with government, health regions and community.

The ALS Society of Saskatchewan is currently recruiting for 1 or 2 ALS Client Services Coordinator (Social worker background) to join our dedicated Saskatchewan ALS team. We would ideally have 1 full time person based out of Saskatoon or two part-time persons with the option of 1 in Saskatoon and 1 in Regina.

Our ALS Client Service Coordinator will collaborate with our clients, the ALS Clinic in Saskatoon, our administrative staff in Regina, medical practitioners and volunteers to help clients attain or maintain their best possible physical, behavioral, and psychosocial well-being.

As the ALS Client Services Coordinator (Social Worker) you will identify needs, develop plans to meet those needs, coordinate services, monitor services for compliance and provide advocacy for ALS clients and their families.
We care in all that we do and are looking for someone who truly wants to make a difference in our clients lives.

We require a Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, public health, special education, or other related fields.
