Description

The Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) is a unique, multi-billion dollar organization based on the fundamental principles of co-operation. It is comprised of a network of approximately 190 autonomous retail co-operatives across Western Canada along with their branch operations, and Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). FCL is the wholesaling/manufacturing arm of the CRS, which provides the retail co-ops with a range of products and services.  Beeland Co-op invites applications for the position of Deli Manager to join our team at our Food Store located in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

The Deli Manager will add structure and support day-to-day operations while ensuring the strategic goals of the department are accomplished.
  
Reporting to the Food Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

1. Ensure completion of the annual strategic plan and department budget
2. Identify opportunities for growth in sales and performance
3. Lead team member development and engagement
4. Inventory control, ordering and merchandising

Qualifications:
Preference given to candidates with previous management experience in a Deli environment or within the CRS
The ideal candidate boasts strong interpersonal skills with experience developing relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to lead by example and create a culture of performance through teamwork
