Description

The Saskatchewan Research Councils Environment Division has an immediate opening for a Lab Assistant in the Client Services area of the Environmental Analytical Laboratories. This position is expected to be full-time until the end of December with the possibility of extension.
Accountabilities
    Logging samples into the lab information management system (LIMS)
    Scanning and labelling samples
    Provide general administrative support services for clients
Qualifications
    Completed at least one year of post-secondary study in science
    Knowledge of relevant chemical terminology
    Experience in Microsoft applications, Microsoft Word and Excel
Skills
    Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and ability to maintain attention to detail
    A team player with effective interpersonal, communication, multitasking and problem-solving skills
    Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed
    Necessary training will be provided

The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties.  The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
