QUALITY CONTROL LAB TECHNICIAN (Temporary Position)
Responsibilities:
-    Gathering water, oil and acid samples (includes some lifting up to 50lbs)
-    Performing laboratory testing
-    Onsite quality control
-    Chemical inventory management
-    New chemical integration testing
-    Chemical testing and quality control supplies management
-    Prepares sample and completes relevant shipping documentation
-    Preparation of laboratory reports for submission to internal/external clients
-    Compliance with all company and regulatory HS &E, Quality and IT standards of operation
-    Wear personnel protective equipment (PPE) as required
-    Review of lab risk assessments and job safety analysis prior to all jobs
-    Participation in training, excels in service delivery
-    Monitor the operations, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
-    Work includes use of specialized laboratory equipment
-    Perform analysis in a timely and accurate manner
-    Maintain clean and orderly working environment
-    Calibrating and maintaining calibration records on testing equipment
-    Assists Lab Manager as necessary
Qualifications:
-    Petroleum Engineering Technology Diploma or equivalent
-    Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology and procedures required of the position
-    Decision making, performance of varied and complex tasks
-    Self-motivated and have the initiative to fully perform the duties of this position independently
-    Valid Class 5 driver's license and satisfactory driving record
-    Good English communication skills
