Come Join Our Team As Production Plant Manager

Established in 1991, Saskarc Industries is an industry-leading custom metal fabricator, project management and equipment sales/rental company.
All of our fabrications are custom and project based, resulting in a quality and schedule driven environment. Our projects are Code Compliant, often resulting in third party surveillance and several forms of non-destructive examinations.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
In conjunction with Production Scheduler & Program Manager; develop, implement and control Production Schedule(s) and Capacity Plan.
Constantly review and communicate potential open capacity to the Sale and Estimating Teams. Focus on pre-planning efforts to create production flow.
Following Execution Plans for each project, determine the tools and equipment resources required.
Drive Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction initiatives.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations and ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Analyze production efficiencies/inefficiencies and quality concerns. Implement systems to increase efficiencies and quality levels.
Set and manage production budgets.
Collaborate with sales/estimating to review major project bids to ensure that the scope is fully accounted for within project estimates.
