The Opportunity:

Shercom is growing its team by hiring a full-time Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:
    Supervision and direction of maintenance employees
    Oversight of a wide range of mechanical duties across all areas of our recycling and manufacturing operations
    Knowledge of a wide range of industrial plant equipment including vehicles, PME, heavy equipment, production presses, size reduction equipment and hydraulic systems
    Efficient Planning and recording of service and maintenance records and intervals
    Maximize efficiency and control costs of the maintenance department
    Ensure the maintenance of a safe and clean work environment
    Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and machinery
    Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

Job Requirements:

    Well developed communication and leadership skills
    Past heavy-duty and industrial mechanical experience is required
    Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is an asset
    Technical aptitude and creative problem-solving skills
    Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task
    Competency with Microsoft Office programs  particularly Excel
