Job Description: The Workflow Coordinator directly supports the Quality Improvement Office (QIO).  They serve as key team members of the QIO dedicated to supporting quality improvement activity.
The incumbent directly provides for the effective and timely flow of information (and other work) between the QIO and the organization at large, according to defined standards.
The position is accountable for supporting the development and maintenance of quality improvement events, certification and training schedules as well as visual communication tools and other infrastructure necessary to support the growing information sharing and progress tracking needs of a Lean organization.
The role directly supports the coordination and rigorous documentation of quality improvement, education and training activities to support achievement of organizational goals and implementation of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System (modeled after the Global Production System). The position involves regular project work requiring a high degree of independence, creativity, technological applications and personal initiative.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
-    Diploma or Bachelors degree or equivalent of combined education and experience.  Incumbents will be required to participate in Lean Improvement Leader Training.
-    Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Project Management Software an asset. Success requires excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as an extremely high level of organizational skill with attention to detail.  The incumbent must demonstrate basic facilitation and team management/building skills and confidence in working with senior leaders, physicians and staff from across the organization to successfully lead the follow-up on projects tasks.
