Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology this position provides leadership vision and direction to the Business Solutions team and the Infrastructure and Operations team and is responsible to define the long-term needs of information systems and establish and implement related strategies.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the Business Solutions team, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide effective and values-based leadership, vision and direction to SCICs executive team and other business areas, to ensure effective product development and delivery  which will satisfy SCICs technology and corporate strategies.
- Provide leadership, vision and direction to the business solutions team and the infrastructure and operations team, developing their skills and capabilities to meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop effective relationships with business leaders across the organization as well as industry partners and/or external customers to ensure effective co-design of products, as well as influence how new or emerging products can enable business value.
- Define and enhance methodologies and practices for the product and application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.
- Establish, implement and manage product road maps, status reporting, metrics and benchmarks.
- Oversee support activities in conjunction with infrastructure and operations to ensure the applications and products perform well in production.
- Oversee suitability assessments of technical and business applications and product portfolios and their associated costs and risks.

What You'll Need:
The knowledge and skills required for this position are acquired through a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study with 8-10 years recent experience in a variety of progressively responsible leadership roles.
