Description

Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the Production Control Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within the Company. Preparing work production schedules. Monitoring the progress of production and various projects. Working independently or as a member of a team. Compiling, verifying, recording and processing forms and documents, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and schedules. Assisting production team members on updating forecasting issues. Working on special projects as required.

Job Duties:
Reconciles all reports as required. Audits activity. Initiates corrective actions with variances as required.
Analyzes, completes and maintains all company records to Company standards.
Detail release function.
Final release function.
Enters specific part specifications and quantities into WERPS system to generate plant work orders for production purposes. Checks all entries for accuracy.
Releases, using WERPS, necessary production work orders for manufacturing.
Completes various reports as required according to Company procedures.
Updates production reporting as required.

Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma or recognized equivalent.
Post secondary education from an accredited community college is a definite asset (e.g., Business Administration, Production Management, Office Administration).
Minimum 1 to 2 years general office and administration experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Basic computer skills: (e.g. MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, Internet).
Organizational skills.
Strong attention-to-detail.
Time and priority management skills.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Resourcefulness and ability to take the initiative to expedite and solve daily production and inventory challenges.
