Description

The Payroll & Benefits team is looking for a full-time Human Resources Consultant, Payroll Management and Benefit Administration for a one-year term in Regina. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the administration and processing of complex payrolls and the administration of benefit programs. You will liaise with external service provides to ensure the seamless delivery of payroll services. Employees and management will count on you for support and guidance on the interpretation and application of the collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Through collaboration and consultation, you will advise management and employees on matters related to accurate application of wage administration, seniority bridging, absences and time reporting.

The HR Consultant, Payroll Management and Benefit Administration will provide leadership and technical oversight to members within the Payroll and Benefits team. As an HR Consultant, you will collaborate with Systems and others on HRMS enhancements, problems or solutions related to payroll/benefit programs and work with teams to implement HRMS changes and conduct testing prior to releases.

Requirements
Candidates must bring the education and experience to succeed in this unique opportunity We are looking for candidates who have a two-year Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline.  A Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) Designation would be an asset. Candidates should have at least five years of experience with increasing responsibility in payroll and benefit program administrator. Alternative combinations of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
