What you will do:
Support site and/or corporate projects related to continuous improvement and/or transformation projects. Manage inventory when and where needed either capital and/or OPEX related.
Be the site subject matter expert for procurement/maintenance for all VMI suppliers.
Support testing and repair philosophy design and implementation including record keeping of reliability metrics related to repaired assets.
Manage all outgoing and incoming repaired assets including tagging system, tracking (RFID) and processes for receiving including quarantine hold, inspection and release procedure.
Analyze and determine optimized min/max inventory levels, dedicated inventory and lead times for all repairable spares using a combination of industry knowledge, maintenance planning input and intelligent software tools.
Governance of all logistics related to repairable spares, including 3rd party inspections.
Expediting of long lead and critical assets supporting maintenance planning deliverables.
What you will bring:
Six to eight years of relevant industry experience in procurement related function
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Supply Chain strongly preferred
Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Inventory Management preferred
Results-driven mindset, with developing capabilities in problem solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work with a variety of internal customers and external suppliers with time sensitive demands
Strong knowledge of mechanical and rotating equipment, OEM and distribution networks and service repair industry
Good understanding of moderate contract language, with a strong attention to detail
Excellent understanding of category strategies related to mechanical and rotating equipment
