The Yorkton Tribal Council Child and Family Services (YTCCFS) Inc. is seeking a FT Integrated Family Service Worker based out of the YTCCFS Inc. Central Office in Yorkton SK. The Integrated Family Service Worker; Under the supervision of the Area Program Manager; will provide a holistic approach to the wellness of the child, the family, and the community, that is based on the culture, traditions and practices involving Elders and Child First Committees along the continuum of care for children, and, to assess and plan for cultural and professional interventions with families. The Integrated Family Service Worker will work collaboratively with Elders and Child First Committees and the First Nations Community based programs/services and the YTCCFS Inc. programs. Working in conjunction with the Prevention Services Workers, the Child First Committees and the Area Program Manager, The Integrated Family Service Worker will provide early intervention for at risk families and ensure children are safe by providing access to a range of developmental services for children and families. This individual must have knowledge and commitment to the FSIN Child Welfare and Family Support Act, the Child and Family Services Act of Saskatchewan INAC Child and Family Services, and the INAC Saskatchewan Region Child in Care Policy. Must have a Bachelor of Indian Social Work or a Bachelor of Social Work or a Bachelor level degree in a directly related field.
