Parkland College is currently accepting applications for Manager, Business Development.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the VP, Academics, the Manager, Business Development oversees the development and management of new and strategic business programming for the college. This includes providing overall management of Corporate Training, Emergency Fire training, Western Trades Training Institute (WTTI) portfolios including the planning and evaluation, implementation, monitoring of budgets and targets, and supervision of staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or Commerce or a related degree combined with relevant experience;
Five (5) years experience in senior position in a business environment;
Experience in a public sector and / or within post-secondary environment;
Demonstrated experience in working with people from equity groups in a cross-cultural setting.
A suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered for this position.
