Parkland College is currently accepting applications for Manager, Indigenous Relations & Employment Connections.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the VP, Academics, the Manager, Indigenous Relations and Employment Connections provides leadership in all areas of Indigenous education, recruitment, supports and partnership opportunities. This position provides leadership in ensuring learner connections to employment and opportunities. This includes providing overall management of the Employment Programming & Services and Elder Supports programs including the planning and evaluation, implementation, monitoring of budgets and targets, and supervision of staff.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors Degree in Human Services;
-Five (5) years experience in a supervisory role in a similar working environment;
-Experience in a public sector and / or within post-secondary environment;
-Demonstrated experience in working with people from equity groups in a cross-cultural setting.
A suitable combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered for this position.
