Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Operation Manager, the Sign Shop Outfitter is responsible for the accurate and timely creation of all in-store signage and following company signing standards and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Creation of in-store product signage for all retail departments, including ads and all special events by following the retail signage specifications and guidelines.
Creation and data entry of new sign information into nice label data base.
Proof reading completed signage for accuracy.
Maintain adequate sign shop supplies including hang tags, sticky tags, paper, toner, sign holders, and sign inserts.
Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictates, which may include, but not limited to: hunting, fishing, camping, footwear, clothing, gifts, general store, archery, marine, backend, cash, and bargain cave.
May serve as a greeter as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of graphic and/or printing training or equivalent experience is an asset
Able to communicate with various business contacts and customers in a courteous and professional manner
Ability to effectively function as a team player
Physical able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
Preference given to those with knowledge of general and/or company retail practices and procedures
Must be available to start as early as 6am-8am, and work weekends. This position requires a minimum of 2 evenings a week, and open availability on Saturday.
