Description

SED is looking for an individual who will take pride in the upkeep and maintenance of our beautiful 125,000 sq. ft. custom-built facility at Innovation Place!

The Facility Supervisor will maintain a productive and efficient custodial team, coordinate general maintenance activities and inspections, perform semi-skilled maintenance support and housekeeping tasks on a regular basis and acquire and maintain inventory.

Responsibilities:

-Supervising a small team of custodial staff, including performance evaluations, career development and training
-Performing semi-skilled maintenance support, repair and housekeeping tasks
-Coordinating inspections and general maintenance and repair activities as required
-Moving office furniture and setting up areas for meetings as required
-Participating in the budgeting process and preparing requisitions for the purchase of supplies, equipment, tools or repairs

Requirements:

-A high school diploma or equivalent, along with electrical/mechanical skills training or experience
-Two or more years of supervisory or management experience
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
-Strong written and verbal communication
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
