Description

We are currently recruiting for a Student Advisor, this is an in-scope position reporting to the Student and Campus Services Coordinator and is primarily responsible for providing personal counseling services to current and prospective students.  They will be asked to guide and assist students through a variety of personal issues or concerns as the student navigates their school experience.

The Student Advisors duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;  assist students through group and individual personal counseling; referral to other community service providers when the required personal counseling services are beyond the scope of the position; crisis intervention support; career and education counseling; assist students in dealing with college systems and procedures; facilitate and/or assist with workshops and orientations to meet student needs; assist the general public by providing information on programs, application procedures, funding sources and career planning;  invigilate student entry and exit testing, conduct intake interviews and assist in student selection process; and other duties as assigned.  For a complete job description please contact the Human Resources Department.
