Job Location: Northern Saskatchewan
14 days in, 14 days out

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Cooking and cleaning for a small camp site with a crew of 6-12 clients.
2. Plan and direct on-site food preparation and cooking activities.  Ensures all day to day activities are compliance with all sound business practices, legislations, regulations, by-laws, policies and procedures.  
3. Ensure adherence to ACLP standard kitchen operating procedures for food quality and ensure the kitchen is compliant with the regulatory requirements for food handling, sanitation and cleanliness, ensuring client contract obligations are met and/or exceed within budget constraints.  
4. Order and adjust supplies according to camp levels, and ensures deliveries are received in a safe and timely manner.
5. Monitors kitchen inventory costs ensure kitchen operation requirements are within budget, in consultation with Division Manager.  
6. Working duties include: sweeping & mopping as necessary, cleaning common areas, emptying garbage, vacuuming & dusting.
7. Responsible for residential room linen changes once weekly.
8. Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports and data related to areas of responsibility.
9. Maintain good working relationships with clients, suppliers & head office.
10. Promote and develop Aboriginal and First Nations employees, specifically partner band members into all facets of Athabasca Catering Operations.
11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
