Facility: DR FH WIGMORE REGIONAL HOSPITAL
Job Description: The Patient Flow Manager is a crucial member of the nursing leadership group at the Dr F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. This position is a 24/7 management position working with the nursing leadership team during business hours, and autonomously after-hours. Individuals in this role have the unique opportunity to interact with patients and maintain nursing skills while fulfilling a leadership role.

This dynamic leader oversees the day-to-day patient flow and is responsible for effective utilization of resources across the facility. In addition, this position oversees the movement of patients throughout the continuum of services in the SHA where appropriate. Acting as
management on-site designate after-hours, the patient flow managers primary objectives are to ensure the delivery of safe patient care, and to provide guidance to the nursing staff.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
- 3-5 years of Nursing Experience Required
- Critical Care Experience would be considered an asset
Other Information

Knowledge of lean processes would be considered an asset

Expected Start Date: September 1, 2019
Expected Up To Date: August 31, 2020
FTE: 0.79

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends
