Description

Crestline Coach Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Designer to add to our Team.
Key activities:

Designs/Drawings
Continuous Improvement
Lead teams on projects & designs
Support and backup the Compliance Engineer on testing and certification of vehicles to applicable C/FMVSS & ambulance standards
Provide Production support, Service support & troubleshooting

Technical Skills/Competencies:
Post-Secondary education - Degree in Engineering. A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
3+ years experience in electrical or technical solution sourcing
Knowledge of 12VDC & 120/240VAC electrical systems
Knowledge of electrical design for heat dissipation
Experience in electrical load analysis & cost/benefit analysis
Practical experience in cable & harness fabrication, component installation and testing
Strong understanding of design for manufacturing & value engineering
Knowledge of integration electrical & mechanical design
Automotive & specialty vehicle power electronics
Knowledge of vehicle CAN bus systems
Graphical user interface design
Electrical schematic drafting with ECAD tools
Electrical wire & cable drafting with 2D & 3D ECAD tools like Zuken E3, Inventor Cable & Harness
Understanding of accepted drafting principles
Multiplex programming by code or graphical representation
Experience in an engineering environment that integrated with a PDM or PLM system
A working knowledge of relevant legislation and test standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
Experience in a Lean Manufacturing
Software system integration electrical & mechanical
