Description

The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for the casual position(s) of Box Office Attendant in the Community Services Department.

The Box Office Attendant is responsible for the operation of the EA Rawlinson Centre for the Arts Box Office. The Box Office Attendant reports directly to the Front of House Coordinator or designate and works in conjunction with the administrative and technical staff, as well as the Volunteer Company. The Box Office Attendant is often the first point of contact with the public for the EARC, so is an essential part of the customer service of the Centre.

This casual position will involve working evening and weekend hours, with occasional coverage of day shifts.  

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain an operational knowledge of ticketing and event software (ex. Theatre Manager).
Provide excellent general customer service including the sale of tickets through the box office.
Reconcile cash balances and summary reports for events as requested by the General Manager or Front of House Coordinator.
Maintain sufficient knowledge of ticket pricing, event information and allocation of complimentary tickets.
Provide ticket sales updates to promoters and renters as requested.
Answer phone calls and emails received through the Box Office.
Perform general clerical tasks as directed by the General Manager or Front of House Coordinator.  

Required Qualifications:
Grade 12
Two years customer service experience.
Must be able to work daytime, evenings and weekends.
