Developing, deliver, and administer programming
Build and maintain a strong relationship between participants, volunteers, CNYC co-workers, and the community.
Establish an open dialogue of trust and support with CNYC staff and the community.
Manage CNYC programs and activities ensuring they run smoothly.
Experience working with youth and coordinating youth programming.
Must be hard-working and possess a can do attitude towards getting the job done.
Demonstrated skills in program development
Strong and practical understanding of youth development principles, techniques and resources.
Demonstrated ability to elicit respect and positive rapport with youth.
Ensure a positive public relation and appearance in the community.
Work with community and volunteers.
Be able to travel to area program sites.
Other duties may be assigned as required
Be able to work evening work hours, Fridays & Saturdays.
Requirements:Knowledge and desire to positively influence youth
Must be 19 years of age.
Ability to handle routine office procedures and good computer skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must possess strong team, networking, and group collaboration abilities.
Manage tracking of information to ensure the programs perform effectively in all key areas.
Ability to communicate professionally and timely with youth, parents and CNYC co-workers.
Experience working with youth.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Strong computer skills.
Successful applicant will be responsible for overall planning, coordination and continuous development
Ensure that Youth Workers observe safe operating practices.
Maintain familiarity with, follow, and ensure compliance with all plans, policies and procedures.
