Description

The File Hills QuAppelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory.  The position will work as part of the Health Services team, based at the All Nations Healing Hospital located in Fort QuAppelle, SK.  

Reporting to the Director of Client Services, the Home Care RN will be responsible for the assessment, coordination and provision of nursing care to clients living in their own homes.  

As a member of the Home and Community Care Team you will assist in the supervision of home health aides, mentor nursing students, and participate in activities which promote the health of individuals and communities and further develop and enhance the Home and Community Care service.  

Applicants must possess:
- Degree in Nursing and be eligible for    membership with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
- Valid Sask. Drivers License
- Nursing experience in acute or home care
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Organizational and coordination skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- The ability to work autonomously (a self starter)
- The understanding of and respect for First Nations culture and traditions
