JNE Welding has been providing quality custom steel fabrications for the resource based industries for more than 38 years. We are located in Saskatoon Saskatchewan and proudly serve the mining, environmental, construction, oil sand and power generating sectors. JNE Welding is currently looking for a full time Plasma Table Operator (night shift). Candidates must have the following minimum requirements:
Working safely and in accordance with JNE procedures and OH&S regulations
Visual and dimensional inspection of items cut referencing approved drawings, codes, specifications and tolerances
Dimensional inspection specific to overall lengths, material size, depths and thickness, hole locations and sizes, weld locations, checking for square and parallel, appearance and workmanship
Ensure proper identification and documentation of components prior to release
Ensure all items are properly marked prior to release
Operation of the overhead cranes to place plates on the table and remove parts
Operation and daily maintenance of the Plasma and table.
Other tasks as assigned
Preference will be shown to candidates who possess:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Experience with CNC cutting machines
Understanding of computers
Good problem solving skills
40 hour Crane Operator and Forklift tickets
