Description

The RM of Edenwold is a municipality located just east of the City of Regina.  It is home to 4,500 residents and over 150 businesses.  Emerald Park and the Great Plains Industrial Park form part of the RM of Edenwold along with over 20 other residential and commercial subdivisions.  There are four major highways that intersect in the municipality including Highway No. 1 and a segment of the new Regina Bypass.  The RM of Edenwold is home to a wide range of land uses associated with both rural and urban environments.  The diversity in the municipality presents unique and interesting challenges for planners.
The Planner I/Development Officer role is an entry-level position primarily focused on processing permits and other planning files and preparing written and visual planning materials including maps. A suitable candidate will have an excellent work ethic, enjoy a fast-paced work environment, be prepared to take initiative on a wide variety of planning projects and activities and have a keen interest in both rural and urban issues.
