Description

Building Caretaker/Maintenance Lead required for Historic Building in Rural setting.
Room and board available if preferred. This position would be beneficial for semi-retired handyman in need of housing, or used to rural settings.

The maintenance lead is responsible for the repair and maintenance of all utility equipment, building, and machinery. The maintenance lead is responsible for planning, organizing, developing and completing job task requirements with the highest degree of quality and professionalism. .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage daily activities of maintenance as outlined in operational manual.
Manage weekly and interval maintenance activities which include water system filter changes, well treatment, system flushing, water testing, septic maintenance and oversee regular pump out, etc.
Keep maintenance areas (Garages shed, Quonset etc.) clean and orderly.
Keep grounds free of debris, refuse
Supervise/complete lawn and grounds maintenance (Cut and trim grass/beds etc. weed control) during spring through fall.
General house maintenance including handyman repairs, garbage removal and burning, recycle management, furniture maintenance, repair and set up according to operational demands
Source and procurement of parts and supplies as needed. Advise Executive Director or designate prior to expenditures.
Plan, organize, schedule and direct other maintenance team members on daily basis.
Plan for future projects including time management requirements for completion.
Must provide criminal record check and be bondable.
