Service Hospitality is on the hunt for a Safety Advisor to provide support on our future worker initiative, including development and delivery of all future worker programs and services - throughout the province and building and maintaining relationships with strategic partners to advance future worker education in health and safety.
Duties include:
Champion our vision, mission statement, mandate, values, strategic plan, operational plan, Board directives, CEO directives, team norms, HR manual, and safety manual and work with all staff and managers to help Service Hospitality fulfill all its objectives and goals
Manage educational partnerships as assigned
Provide safety presentations to schools
Manage client relationships as assigned, including (but not limited to) making business cases, obtain commitments, deliver safety evaluations and training, consult, research, problem solve
Contribute to sales of Service Hospitality programs/services
Act as a team member on program development and review of client programs and services
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
A certificate or diploma from a post-secondary institution in business, youth/adult education, or a health and safety related field
Proven work experience with youth
Demonstrated ability to deliver training and presentations.
Professional business etiquette
Familiar with technology and computer platforms
Proven work experience in consulting, negotiations and/or sales is an asset
Willing to travel (overnight/out of province)
Valid drivers license, personal vehicle available
